Saying YES-Heeding the Call

ree

In February of 2025, just four years following my son Graham’s transition to the other side, I was led by my friend Heather to watch the documentary “Life with Ghosts.” Heather was, not so coincidentally, the same friend who led me to psychic-medium Kelle Sutliff, after weeks of “not knowing,” when Graham went missing on New Year’s Day in 2021. Kelle was the psychic through whom Graham worked to lead us to find his body 38 days after his death on New Year’s Day. His communication with me through Kelle was so powerful and unquestionable that it gave me a clear knowing, not just a belief, of his continued presence in spirit. It opened me to more— to listen—to receive—to accept the many ways my son would continue to support, inspire, and communicate with me.

By the time I watched “Life with Ghosts” in February of 2025 I had been immersed in healing and inspiration—books, classes, workshops, certifications, trainings, and everything I could get my hands on regarding grief, healing, spirituality, and the afterlife. The documentary highlighted the IADC (Induced After Death Communication) modality used to support people with grief and the research was showing amazing results. Several months after viewing “Life with Ghosts,” I felt prompted to watch it again. “Oh yeah, one of the trainers in this film is named Graham,” I thought. “I wonder if that means anything.” This time, I took the nudge and decided I needed to reach out to this trainer to investigate getting trained in this model.

Shortly thereafter, I participated in the IADC training with Graham Maxey, a gentle and very wise soul and brilliant trainer. During the training, we all participated as client, therapist, and observer. At the completion of my own experience as a client, during which I experienced an ADC, I was encouraged to ask my deceased loved one—my son Graham, of course—a question. “Can you help me with decisions?” was my question. I immediately had a sensation of Graham’s arm extended, hand open, energy permeating, indicating toward my heart.

“Mom, you’ll know,” I heard in a voice of kindness, yet certainty. The very next morning, and then for forty-eight continuous hours, I received a complete and spontaneous download of information. And in that download came every detail of Mindful Metamorphoses and the services, including the retreat, its theme, offerings, schedule, location, and my collaborating colleagues. I didn’t inquire or even contemplate a single detail. It simply came to me.

This experience was quite different from any other decision that has come to me. Hence, I said, “YES,” easily and without question.
